All of ADM's work is recorded in the barn studio. Set in a magnificent converted stone outbuilding in the wild mountains near Lismore, Co. Waterford, the studio provides an ambience and recording environment like no other.

ADM's evocative and intense music feeds on and reflects this unique atmosphere. From bright summer sunlight through autumn shades into bleak, harsh winter, the wild, untamed landscape has an indelible effect on the artists who make the effort to work here.

Inside, the barn combines the Irish rural tradition with an unmistakeable gothic influence. The wood stove and reflecting candlelight provide warmth against the mountain chill, while vast arched windows and huge beams hewn from rough sawn trees add to the aura of calm, uplifting power. When instruments are played, the space resonates with warm natural acoustics, adding a unique depth and richness to the music that is created here.
