Established in 2003 by IT expert Hugh McGoldrick and security expert Buddy Wright, Osiris Digital is an Irish-based assembler, supplier and installer of Digital Video Recording (DVR) seurity and surveillance equipment.

Osiris developed as an offshoot of our parent company MGCS Consulting Limited, in response to the increasing demand for digital sucurity equipment of all kinds. Our extensive experience in both the IT and security industries positions us ideally to expand into this new market.

Our primary product is a range of PC-based DVR appliances built around the widely used Geovision compponent range. In addition to supplying, installing and supporting these appliances, we offer a full range of supporting services. The most important of these in the security context are backup and UPS systems, integration and networking.

We partner with a number of companies, allowing us to expand further our range of services. In addition to our close ties with MGCS Consulting, we also partner with Makrai Design for design, graphics and visual services, and with Meridian Electrical who provide high quality security system installations. Hugh McGoldrick has extensive experience in the IT industry, having been with well-respected London-based consultancies Sylvan Prometric and Tim Meyer Associates, prior to establishing MGCS Consulting Limited in 2001. His areas of special interest are Unix development, networking, RDBMS and C++, although in addition he has significant system administration skills.

Bruce Coker has ten years experience with some of the biggest names in IT, including the now-defunct Digital, Compaq, and Intel. He specializes in Linux and web development, and has also served his time in hardware support, which is essential experience for his current work with Osiris Digital.
